Welcome!

My name is Christina Barry and I am a fifth-grade teacher at Allentown Elementary. I currently teach Reading, Writing, Language Arts, and Social Studies. I have been teaching at Allentown since the Fall of 2013.  Prior to Allentown, I taught first grade after graduating from the University of South Alabama in 2007.

I recently completed my Masters of Elementary Education from Faulkner University on May 1, 2020.

“The best way to measure how much you've grown isn't by inches or the number of laps you can now run around the track, or even your grade point average-- though those things are important, to be sure. It's what you've done with your time, how you've chosen to spend your days, and whom you've touched this year. That, to me, is the greatest measure of success.”
